Hunting buddies, Marty Hogan (25) and Miles Fitzsimmons (26), head west to the Cowboy State to chase mule deer and North America’s fastest land animal in a high stake, multiple species hunt, with non-resident tags.
Having rarely encountered mule deer and having never hunted pronghorn with eyesight comparable to 8x binoculars, this was sure to be an adventure and memory that will stick with these two friends long into their old age.
“You can know everything there is to know about hunting deer, but if you want to hunt a different species… there’s going to be some mistakes made, there’s going to be some new challenges. You don’t know what you don’t know, and a lot of times you have to learn the hard way,” says Marty.
Over this three-day adventure, the two-friends find success and failure as they miss shots, blow stalks, and learn what it takes to harvest a mature pronghorn buck.
Tune in as Marty & Miles push the Traveling AccuFit to its limits in open country with different sized hunters.
“Marty has a couple of inches on me, so, if we didn’t have the AccuFit system, I’m not sure we would have been able to use the same rifle, let alone be accurate with it,” stated Miles. “I loved the gun so much, I bought one the following week we got back!”
