 Savage Arms, legendary for out-of-the-box accuracy, introduces the Model 12 Varminter Low Profile to its varmint series. The new Model 12 Varminter Low Profile features a low profile, laminated stock with wide beavertail forend and features the revolutionary AccuTriggerTM - Savage's adjustable trigger.
The low profile stock with wide beavertail forend provides more stability when shooting from a bench or sandbags. The stainless steel action, chambered in the popular 223 and 22-250, is dual pillar bedded and the button-rifled barrel is free-floating for enhanced accuracy. An oversized bolt handle allows for quick acquisition. All models feature the Savage AccuTriggerTM, allowing the shooter to easily adjust the trigger pull from approximately 1 ½ to 6 lbs without paying a gunsmith to adjust the trigger. The AccuTriggerTM is also extremely crisp and exhibits no creep.
